Jason is the Co-Director and Leading Educator at the London Barbering Academy. In 2017 Jason opened MBF Barbers in Enfield, which has now become one of the leading salons within the area.
He plans to open a chain of MBF Barbers within the next year across different areas of London - which you could be a part of! In 2018 Jason launched his own MBF Haircare Product range and clothing apparel.
Jason started his hairdressing journey when he was 17, working in numerous unisex salons and training in all aspects of hairdressing on both men and women, and in particular precision cutting techniques, which is where he found his passion for shorter hair but also understanding the importance of customer service in order to become an expert in providing a style which every individual client wanted.
When he opened MBF Barbers 3 years ago, his idea was to create the ultimate barbering experience combining excellent customer service, hairdressing scissor techniques with barbering clipper work, in a professional, friendly and truly unique environment. The brand is rapidly growing, as are the shops, which is where you can learn to train and join the rapidly expanding team.
Jason’s passion for educating his staff and showing them how to combine the hairdressing scissor techniques with the barbering clipper work, has led to the opening of the Barbering Academy and this is why training with him will truly make you into an expert in this field.
Leigh has 20 years experience in the Hair and Beauty Industry and is a Leading Educator and Examiner.
Leigh has been in the hair and beauty industry for the past 20 years, having run a successful chain of beauty salons which led to her opening the London Beauty Academy in 2005 offering City & Guilds qualifications. Since then Leigh has become a leader in education and most recently branched into men’s hair, teaming up with MBF Barbers, where they have also launched their own hairstyling products.
